Wines

For most people, Malbec is the stand out grape variety from Argentina, rich and fruity with moderate to firm tannins.
It is wonderful as a sole varietal wine but blends very well, often producing a more subtle and versatile wine with the addition of other grape varieties. In the case of the Luigi Bosca Gala 1, it becomes incredibly elegant and silky smooth when blended with Petit Verdot and Tannat. Malbec also blends well with Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Bonarda. In addition to Malbec, there are exciting wines made from Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Torrontes in the whites and Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Merlot for the reds.
