Argentina wine making began well over a hundred (100) years old, pioneered mostly by Italian immigrants at the conclusion of the 19th and early 20th century. However it wasn’t until the 1980’s that winemakers ever deviated from the practice of producing quantity rather than quality. At around 1990, the vast majority of Argentina wine was drank domestically or exported to neighboring countries for consumption. By the late 1990’s this had dramatically changed, while many wineries were still engaged in the tradition of quantity, table style wines, others had developed premium lines for the International market and startup wineries were sprouting up to take. Advantage of fertile land, ideal growing conditions to make high end wines. Today the Argentina wine industry is at the beginning stages of understanding how to cater to tourists interested in visiting the wineries and the refined techniques of the world’s greatest in turning out consistently great vintages.

(Earthy and concentrated; Palate is nicely juicy and slick, with ripe tannins. This wine has a gorgeous vibrant red colour with purple shades. The nose offers yummy cooked cherries aromas with vanilla hints; this gives way to a mellow, round palate with lingering finish. Produced by Andean Vineyards, Mendoza. 13 % vol.)

(Concentrated with silky strawberry and violet fruit character; soft tannins and nice charred oak. Aromas of ripe plums, blackberries and vanilla this big bodied, intense and complex wine matured in American oak for 6 months has a smooth velvety finish. 14.0% vol.)

(Characteristically deep in colour with cherry and spice on the nose. Aged in French oak for three months, this is a well structured wine with balanced tannins. Velvety delicate and modern. Produced by Luigi Bosca. 14,0 % vol.)

(Ruby red in colour with intense purple tints. Aromas of red berries such as morello cherries and plums with a subtle hint of violet with hint of vanilla imparted by slight oak ageing. The tannins are soft and the flavors round, elegant and well-balanced wine. 14,5% vol.)

(This Malbec comes from our vineyards in some of the best areas of Mendoza. They provide an exceptional concentration of fruit. The wine has an attractive intense violet colour with aromas of red berries, black fruit and raspberry flavors. Velvety roundness and elegant complexity coming from the french and american oak . 13,5% vol.)

(This wine is produced from grapes of low yielding vines planted at Vistalba vineyard in Lujan de Cuyo, an area of Mendoza. Intense ruby red coot, with aromas of berries, coffee, spices and pepper. Round, with soft sweet tannins. A long-lasting wine, memorable, elegant with great body. 12 months in oak casks. 13,5 % vol.)

(Deep ruby-red color, bright and clean. Fresh, velvety and fruity. Aromas of red berries, violets and notes of chocolate. A vibrant, full-bodied, delicate and elegant wine. After 14 months in oak cask, its rounded tannins and fruit concentration give the wine good aging potential. 14,0 % vol.)

(This wine from the southernmost wine region in the world has intense ruby red colour with purple hues. It has aromas of red berries such as fresh raspberries, plumy and mineral notes. Intensely fruity on the mouth of with a touch of violet and vanilla imparted by the oak ageing. Amazing full body and long finish. Delicious. 14% vol.)
